GlofBook Privacy Policy
1. Single Purpose & Scope
GlofBook ("the Extension", "we", "us", or "our") has a single purpose: to assist registered golf club members with scheduling and automating tee time round bookings on Australian MiClub golf portals. All automation takes place locally inside your Google Chrome browser on your computer.
2. Data Collection and Storage (100% Local)
GlofBook does not operate any remote database, backend server, telemetry system, or analytics network.
- Member Credentials: If you save your golf club login credentials (e.g. member username and password) in the extension dashboard, they are saved strictly on your local machine using Chrome's secure
chrome.storage.localAPI. They are never sent to us or any remote server. - Golfer Profiles & Playing Groups: Golfer names, gender, and membership IDs entered to form playing foursomes are stored purely on your local computer to auto-populate the golf club's booking form.
- Booking Schedules & Preferences: Your preferred play dates, target tee times, and slot drift rules are kept in local storage.
- Audit Logs: Execution logs generated during booking tasks reside exclusively in local storage on your machine. You can view, search, export to CSV/JSON, or clear these logs at any time.
3. Chrome Permissions & Why They Are Needed
In accordance with Google Chrome Web Store policies, GlofBook requests only the minimal set of permissions required to perform its single automated booking function:

Host permissions |
Allows the extension to run on Australian golf club websites. Because Australian MiClub portals reside on diverse club-specific domain names (e.g. *.indooroopillygolf.com.au, *.royalmelbourne.com.au, *.redcliffegolf.com), broad host matching is required to support any affiliated club. The extension only executes on recognized golf club booking pages. |
4. Remote Code & Third Parties
- Zero Remote Code: GlofBook is 100% self-contained. It contains no remote scripts, does not evaluate strings as code (no
eval()), and does not load assets from external CDNs. - Zero Third-Party Data Sharing: We do not sell, rent, license, or disclose your personal data, credentials, or browsing history to data brokers, advertising platforms, or any third parties.
- Direct Club Communication: When an automated booking runs, communication occurs directly and securely via HTTPS between your browser and your golf club's official portal. No intermediary servers participate in the transaction.
5. Data Retention, Control & Deletion
You have full and continuous control over all data stored by GlofBook:
- Modify or Delete: You can edit, delete, or export your saved golfer profiles, clubs, and schedules directly within the dashboard at any time.
- Clear Logs: You can purge all execution logs using the "Clear All Logs" button on the Audit Logs tab.
- Complete Removal: Uninstalling the GlofBook extension from Google Chrome immediately and permanently removes all stored data from your device.
6. Chrome Web Store Developer Certifications
In accordance with the Google Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, the developer certifies that:
- We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties.
- We do not use or transfer user data for purposes that are unrelated to the item's single purpose.
- We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
